Blackoak Construction Inc. is a California corporation based in Rancho Mirage, licensed by the Contractors State License Board as a B General Building contractor (#1132543). We have been building in the Coachella Valley and Los Angeles for more than a decade.
We work as a full-service design-build firm: one contract covers concept, budget, plans, engineering, permitting, construction, and the final walkthrough. Our clients never have to referee between an architect and a builder, because we sit on the same side of the table from day one.
Unlike most general contractors, we carry our own trade licenses: C-8 Concrete, C-10 Electrical, C-20 HVAC, C-36 Plumbing, and C-38 Refrigeration, plus structural welding certification. The foundation, the rough-in, and the mechanical systems are run by crews who report to us directly.
Today that same team also manages projects for owners and developers, and cares for finished homes through our home care plans, so the people who know how a house was built are the ones looking after it.

Through our partnership with Tesla we integrate solar and energy storage into our homes and communities, so they are cleaner and cheaper to run.
Modular & off-site
For multi-family and ADUs we use modular construction where it makes sense, cutting schedule, waste, and disruption. Members of the Modular Building Institute and the Offsite Construction Network.
